Summary

I am a climate law and policy specialist from Mauritius. I serve as an Expert Reviewer for the IPCC, IPBES and MedECC, and as a Public Stakeholder to the UNFCCC Article 6.4 Supervisory Body and its Methodological Expert Panel, where my work has focused on inclusive finance mechanisms and digital MRV systems for carbon markets. I am a Gender and Climate Technology Expert on the UN Climate Technology Centre and Network roster and an Eco-Technology Justice Global Ambassador with the Erline Bradshaw Foundation's Femme LEX Cohort. As a Yale School of the Environment Urban Climate Leadership Fellow, I developed a National Adaptation Plan for water security and urban climate health in Mauritius, and I served as an Invited Expert to the UN Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women and Girls, advising on consent mechanisms in surrogacy. I serve as Deputy Director of Policy and Legal Compliance at LEARNBLUE and have previously recommended the Attorney General's Office and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions of Mauritius on environmental standing and whistleblower protection legislation.
