Ensured compliance with industry best practices and company policies throughout all support activities undertaken by the Department.
Ensure that all the regulatory framework that governs the continuing airworthiness management of aircraft is being followed.
Responsible for the continuing airworthiness of aircrafts by ensuring that the aircraft, engine or parts remains compliant with airworthiness requirement and is safe for its entire operating life.
Management of Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service bulletins, Airworthiness Operator Message(AOM), Alert Operator Transmission (AOT) and any other documentation to ensure airworthiness of the air mauritius fleet.
Establishment of the Approved Maintenance Programme reviewing same on periodic basis for improvement
Ensure that all damages to aircraft are properly recorded and that same are tackled using appropriate and approved documentation. (Damage control and monitoring)
Managed multiple projects simultaneously, staying organized and meeting deadlines consistently.
Technical Representative for various projects - C-Checks at overseas MRO (Brunei, Singapore, Philippines, South Africa, Malta France, Malaysia, UAE), Livery change on MK fleet , Cabin Retrofit programme, Aircraft Sales and Return and Addition of new aircraft in the fleet.
Currently handling the Cabin Definition for the new A350 and also the cabin densification programme on the existing A350.
Collaborate with outside departments to promptly address support and providing accurate solutions e.g Flight Operation, Fleet Planning, Cabin Crew, etc
Implemented technical solutions to solve customer issues and increase satisfaction.
Specialist for system ATA chapters ( 21(Air conditioning), 27(Flight controls), 28(Fuel) and 29 (Hydraulics) from 2003 to 2008
Specialist for Structures ATA 51 to 57 since 2008
Specialist for Cabin ATA 25 since 2021
Assisted in migration of the technical information systems from Merlin to Maintenix in 2006
Provided mentorship to trainee/ junior support engineers, fostering culture of continuous learning and improvement.
