As the Head of Project Coordinator, I write projects, do the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the projects and also report to sponsors, donors, and the school board. I work closely with school administrators, teachers, and external stakeholders to ensure that programs meet the needs of students with special needs. This role involves resource management, collaboration, monitoring and evaluation, training and development, and reporting and aligning everything with the SDGs and UNCRPD. I am also responsible for the overall management of the special needs school, including budget management, staff supervision, and program development. I oversee day-to-day operations, staff development, parent and community relations, compliance with regulations, and quality assurance. I am managing a team of 30 staff and 100 students/100 parents which requires strong leadership and communication skills. I provide direction, support, and guidance to my staff, ensuring they have the resources and training needed to support students effectively. I also establish positive relationships with students, parents, and the community, addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
