  • Assisted my Directorate in increasing diplomatic presence in Asia and Middle East i.e Opening of a consulate general in Jeddah, opening of Economic Development Board offices in Shanghai and Tokyo and looking into the possibility of opening an Office in Dubai;
  • Assisted in the effective participation of the Prime Minister and the Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs in State Level and High-level Meetings it, inter-alia, the UN, African Union, Commonwealth, FOCAC, TICAD, Non-Aligned Movement, UNCTAD through related the preparation of Statements, talking points, briefs, and other strategy papers on issues of interest to Mauritius; and
  • Prepared briefs and talking points in view of strengthening existing bilateral relations and exploring future areas of cooperation, in the margins of bilateral meetings between High Dignitaries and their counterparts in Mauritius and abroad.
