Have to:
1) Assist the Welfare officer or the Community Development Officer in the performance of his or her duties
2) The day-to-day management of the financial grant allocated to the Social Welfare Centres
3) Keep:
(i) books of accounts and prepare all other related documents of the Social Welfare Centres including payment vouchers, cheques, travelling bills as well as the annual estimates and the monthly and annual financial statements for audit purposes
(ii) Maintain records of assets and inventories at Social Welfare Centres
(iii) To ensure that the buildings housing Social Welfare Centres and annexed infrastructure and other assets are properly maintained and utilized
4) To monitor the work and attendance of subordinate staff
5) To network through personal contacts with and visits to Government Agencies, Non-Governmental Organizations and voluntary agencies in the local community in order to harness resources, financial and non-financial, for implementation of welfare programmes / projects
6) To assist in the planning and running of training courses and other educational or informative activities
7) To assist in the planning, organization, and monitoring of activities of Community Associations Social Welfare committees
8) To assist in the planning and running youth and sports activities and senior citizen associations as appropriate.
9) To tender appropriate advice to members of the public and liaise with relevant institutions
10) To inform and motivate members of the public to participate in community services, social work and welfare, and other relevant programs
11) To contact members of the public for information in connection with the implementation of community development or social welfare schemes
12) To provide assistance, as appropriate, for improving the community
· To make arrangement for application/ renewal of licences for Foreigners and local citizens
· Preparation of Skipper Training and examination
Ø This included organizing training for (Category B, C and exemptions) and together with the Tourism Enforcement Officer, we had to prepare and issue convocation letters to candidates
Ø To liaise with concerned authorities for availability of training venues, trainers and related matters
Ø To prepare attendance sheet and training programme for candidates

10) Follow up of morality certificates of employees
11) Responding to other ad-hoc queries from other personnel in the company; for instance:
Issue of Claim Forms for Team members for medical purposes for employees, Issue of Team Member & Family & Friends Vouchers for stay at hotel
