· Review accounting functions that include maintenance and monitoring of all accounting operations and services of the department.
· Oversee high quality reviews performed on financial statements to ensure that they comply with IFRS. Provide coaching to staff members in terms of application of IFRS.
· Prepare monthly financial statements, quarterly Cost Accounting Analysis and variance analysis and annual operational and capital budgets for review by management. Prepare any other relevant reports as required.
· Design and implement proper planning and monitoring process to ensure that all operations’ deadlines are met. Assist Head of Department in devising new initiatives and process developments that will help in optimising efficiency and productivity.
· Provide assistance to staff on client companies and /or complex accounting matters and advise on remedial actions to be taken accordingly.
· Ensure clients complaints are properly handle. Engage in problem solving of complex situations.
· Proactive culture as problem solver by liaising with clients, auditors and /or any other stakeholders in order to resolve outstanding matters in a timely and efficient manner.
· Focus on strengthening client relationships and creating value for clients while ensuring a high standard of service is provided.
· Ensure that all client communications reflect a high standard of professionalism and reflect the culture of the Company.
· Contribute in a meaningful way to the performance management process by identifying strengths and weaknesses of the team and providing the relevant and constructive feed backs.
