Dedicated Sportphysiotherapist with experience in working with athletes delivering high-quality patient care through diverse techniques including manual therapy, functional training and evidence-based practices. Experienced in strength and conditioning training and implementing neuroceptive approaches to fitness. Deeply passionate about the holistic well-being, through nutrition, physical activities and mental health.
I worked apart from the regular emergency rescue service at on-call services on big events and competitions like the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2021 in Cortina d'Ampezzo, the FIS Ski World Cup in Alta Badia, cross-country ski races, cycling events and many more. I got special insights in the chain of rescue, the work under time pressure, the teamwork and the collaboration with other professions.
I worked for the Canadian National and NextGen Team following them during the preparatory season as well as travelling to the competitions around the world. I provided daily on- and off-snow coverage, administered daily physiotherapeutic treatments to promote recovery and to treat acute injuries. My further duties were to organize the injury management on-site as well as communicating with off-site personnel to implement injury prevention and rehabilitation programs.
I provided 1:1 client-centered treatment sessions and worked with a holistic framework that included assessment, physiotherapeutic diagnostics and treatments as well as rehabilitative training.
