a) General administrative duties
Report formally to the Director for day-to-day purposes with whom work is mainly associated. Responsible for providing administrative support to the Director or any other person appointed by the Director.
As required, communicate via E-mail, fax, letter and telephone, handle telephone enquiries and other related administrative duties.
Carry out extensive work using the Business School software to process registration forms and maintain student records.
b) Course Coordination
• Course Coordinator of all BSC Programmes awarded by Staffordshire University
• Course Coordinator of the Higher National Diploma programmes awarded by Edexcel
• Accreditation of new programs to TEC, provide all necessary documents for the approval of the program (prepare the programme structure, module specifications, tentative timetables, selecting of lecturers, summarised their CVs etc…)
• Assisting meeting with TEC and Staffordshire staffs
c) Course Administration
Liaise with course tutors, outside speakers and company personnel and work involved includes the following duties:
• Communication and liaison with tutors/speakers/company personnel via E-mail, phone, letter etc, as required by the Director.
• Maintaining student databases for marketing and promotion.
• Liaison with advertising agency.
• Requesting course notes, study manuals, textbooks and equipment requirements from teaching personnel.
• Providing information for lecturers and students.
• Posting relevant information on the associated web site.
• Preparing, amending and overseeing the course timetable.
• Ensuring that the Technician has correct details on room layout and equipment requirements.
• Welcoming visitors, lecturers/speakers to the class.
- Marketing of training and Capacity Building services: assisting customers in formulating their training needs, work out detailed training program, getting programs approved by the MQA, finding resource persons, ensuring the implementation of the training programs and follow up of the HRDC reimbursement to the clients under the grant scheme.
- Assisting in administrative and marketing duties; -Coordinating the training and other activities and preparing reports, marketing plans and other related activities.
- Adapting and customizing training materials and documentation provided by trainers for their training programs, courses, seminars, etc
- Coordinating, monitoring and evaluating training and consultancy programs.
- Providing assistances, supporting and counseling to new, potential and existing EMS trainees and other personnel.
