- Prepare and maintain daily and monthly cash flow Maintain database for all Hotel licenses & contracts- Registrations, renewals & cancellations
- Ensure that the Finance team provides month-end closing and all other required management reports /
- Ensure all financial regulations are met, through the maintenance of adequate systems of internal control
- Ensure that balance sheets are a fair reflection of the assets and liabilities of the Hotel on a monthly basis
- Setting of internal procedures wherever needed and ensure that the Hotel is in compliance
- Work with external/group internal auditors and assist with year-end audit preparations and drafting of financial statements
- Prepare capital reviews as required by the Management
- Perform internal daily audits of cash deposits, transfers and monitoring of the capital budget
- Perform regular training with the accounting team for improvement and ensure compliance with internal control procedures
- Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports for the Hotel
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions for the Hotel
- Oversee AR & AP function to control ageing
- Oversee work of overall finance team members
- Acting Director of Finance whenever required
