Driven by a profound interest in law, inspired by the 'Nirbhaya Case' in India, and dedicated to helping those facing injustices. With a science background, I have developed critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills essential for a successful legal career. Overcoming introversion, I confidently voice opinions and actively engage in debates. Through extracurricular activities like Kathak, I have cultivated discipline and resilience, recognizing the importance of both academics and extracurriculars for a well-rounded life. Additionally, I participated in a WHO Rapid Response Team Training Simulation with my mother during the holidays, proving to be a fruitful experience. Currently learning German and Spanish with aspirations of becoming a polyglot. I am very keen on pursuing law and I believe an internship will make me gain exposure about what a legal career will entail. I am motivated to learn about how the work at a law firm or a court is broken into. I would be the most grateful to gain insights and be a part of the unfoldings of your work.
I have notions of the UN’s 17 SDGs which englobes 169 targets on a time frame of 15 years. I firmly want to assist in forging a sustainable Mauritius.I am an avid follower of Oxfam and Amnesty international, the former of which is an NGO to fight poverty and injustice and the latter campaigning for Human rights.
