I have always been driven by passion and truthfulness. To me, going after what you love improves your chances of succeeding because you act from passion. Moreover, I have always been keen to discover new knowledge and places. Diversity and enlightenment, in my opinion, are the most beautiful qualities someone can possess. Being Mauritian has provided me with these qualities and as become older, more and more of these qualities are unfolding and I remain impatient to discover even more.
Being a Cabin Crew has been a wonderful experience of mine. It does not only consist of the glamorized view of the job, being able to travel, only serving tea and coffee, but it consisted of so many safety and security aspects. You are able to face many challenging situations while keeping one's composure and interact with so many types of personalities not only from passengers but also colleagues. I became able to serve an image of professionalism and convey optimized experience to clients from all around the world. Being able to fly to different countries has also broaden my perspective on my own life and the world itself. It has gifted me with many new skills such as flexibility, critical thinking, problem solving, and many more.
As my first ever job, working at Hardy Henry has improved my planning and organizing skills deeply. As an intern, I was in charge of creating new files for tons of old and expired contracts in a more aesthetic and organized order. Fresh out of school, I used my listening skills to understand exactly what was expected from me and carried out very clean and on-point commands. My first job has also improved my ability to put myself out there and interact more with my colleagues but also clients. It has well improved my communication skills as I developed the right tone and diction when speaking to clients but also when information had to be distributed to and received from colleagues.
