A 20 year experience individual in the FMCG market in Mauritius. Some regional experience in markets such as Seychelles and Madagascar.
Mastering all sales channels processes : From Supermarkets, hotels & restaurants as well as B to C clients via Retail operations and mastering road to market segmentations and efficiency.
High accountability on bottom line results of Business units by monitoring budgets, margins and cost of operations.
Experience in managing people and collaborators in various level of responsibilities.
Three Main Responsibilities.
(1) Business Unit Wines.
- Build, Develop and Sell a competitive Champagne and Wine portfolio as to improve market share, both in volumes and value, while improving bottom line financial performances.
(2) Business Unit - Sales Hospitality
- Manage a Sales, Marketing and Event team as to grow market share and bottom line revenue of the Hospitality sales channel. Efficient road to market; strengthening relationship with all stakeholders; and empowering team members.
- Managing some 8 collaborators reaching some 390 direct clients / partners.
(3) Business Unit - Retail.
- Managing the overall operations, sales development and market reach of some 10 Specialized Wines & Spirits outlets.
- Managing the Profit & Loss of this department consisting of some 44 collaborators.
- Leading the commercial operations and development of the company, operating in various category of the FMCG markets in Mauritius: Frozen, Chilled & Dry goods.
- Nurturing relationship with various suppliers consisting of multinationals such as Mondelez, Danone, Avi international and many more.
- Building and developing budgeted brand plans aligned to market size and international guidelines.
- Managing a team of some 35 collaborators as to build an efficient road to market for all brand portfolio.
- Entrepreneurial experience at launching a new business in a highly competitive market by taking the responsibility of the commercial department. Building, nurturing and empowering employees while building up key strategic relationship with market stakeholders.
