I have been in the animal welfare since 2014.

I was a volunteer at Protection Of Animal Welfare (Paws) The Vale since the age of 14 where I adopted my very first dog.

Then I started to volunteer in the shelter as a welfare cleaning and taking care of the animals.

It was the most draining, difficult and painful year of my life till now. It was then I knew how animal welfare in Mauritius really was, sleepless nights when seeing such breach in animal welfare in Mauritius and I was just a teen.

I loved animals but never had it in mind to be a veterinarian. That was when I realized that I need to be a savior to those voiceless.

In 2017 I started volunteering at All Life Matters Animal Sanctuary and Veterinary Clinic who has over 100´s of animals under their care.

That was my last high school year where I was determined to start my career as a veterinary doctor.

I opted for veterinary medicine studies in Russia and started in November of 2018.

For the next five years I was coming back and forth on the Island be it for holidays, pandemic or war, I spent most of my time at All Life Matters Animal Sanctuary and Veterinary Clinic.

I was always keen to make it better for animal welfare and helping where I can and how I can.

When I returned the president of All Life Matters Animal Sanctuary and Veterinary Clinic offered me a job which I joined readily to make a new impact as a new registered veterinarian. I joined All Life Matters Animal Sanctuary and Veterinary Clinic in October of 2023 till now managing the veterinary clinic. Since October of 2023 till now I have done over 4000 key hole sterilization.
