Aashiana Ajith Ramphal

Highly adaptable and resilient international student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Resources, with hands-on experience in both fields. Possesses a very strong understanding of human behavior, organisational dynamics, and HR strategies. As an intern at T1 Dams which is a diabetic center, I gained valuable insight into patient behavior, health psychology, and the psychological impact of chronic illness. While also observing HR functions in a healthcare setting, which includes teamwork, training, and ethical considerations. Having worked as a cashier, skills such as customer service, communication, and multitasking was refined. Passionate about applying psychological insights to HR practices to enhance employee engagement and the organisation's performance overall.

• Hydroponic Farming Project (2020-2022) – Developed sustainability awareness and gained hands-on agricultural skills by managing a hydroponic system thus demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving.
• CAS Trip to Berlin (2019) – Engaged in global citizenship initiatives, including community projects, refugee awareness programs, and cultural experiences such as street art, cycling, and kayaking by enhancing teamwork and cross-cultural communication.
• Hiking Expeditions (2020,2023,2024) – Participated in group hikes across the island. Strengthened endurance, resilience, and teamwork.
• Fundraising Event Organiser – ‘Walk with Furry Friends’ (2019) – Helped organise and lead a charity event to raise awareness and funds for stray dogs, oversaw the logistics, and event planning, took part in the walk.
